The Incredibles

I'm looking foward to the latest movie by the amazing Pixar studios....
They have hardly put a foot wrong - every movie has been enjoyable.
So far their credits are: Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo and now The Incredibles. I think I'll wait a couple of weeks to see it though as i hate going during the Christmas rush when the cinemas are packed.

More inspiring lyrics

One of my favourite cds that came out in 2003 was by a power metal artist called Theocracy - see www.theocracymusic.com .
The album was full of uplifting lyrics and sung passionately by the singer Matt Smith who happens to play everything on the cd as well...very talented!

Here are some great lyrics from 2 songs off this release:

Mountain

And in my weakness is Your strength realized
Consume me in the fire of Your glory once again
and help me rise

Rise, taking flight
To the zenith of life
Rise to the top of the mountain with You
The world disappears
Into the valley below me
As I'm lost in the glory of You

Theocracy

At the center of my heart there sits a throne
That the rightful occupant's not always
free to call His own
For how can i give the King
His place of worth above all else
When I spend my time striving
to place the crown upon myself?

The Rain

The Rain

Memory of myself the slave
Realize the one who brought the pain
Looking back, I feel the need to blame

It was then i cried

Help Me
I know you see
And i'm all tied up
Help me
Set me free

I've seen the rain
And i've felt the pain it brings
Remembering me
The life I lived
The toll it took
The night you found me in the rain

These are the lyrics from the song 'The Rain' by the band Deliverance....from the album 'Learn', which came out in 1993. These lyrics have always been very personal for me especially when listening to the song......very emotional, crying vocals from the heart.....and the song has a great driving guitar line through it. One of my favourite Deliverance songs ever....

Rob Rock, Jacobs Dream and Century Sleeper

One of my favourite styles of music is power metal

Two releases i'm looking foward to in 2005 are by
Rob Rock: Holy Hell and
Jacobs Dream: Drama of the Ages

Rob Rock has 2 fantastic solo releases: Rage of Creation and Eyes of Eternity. His website can be found at www.robrock.com

James Allin from Visionaire has told me recently that he is doing a gothic/doom metal album with Ian Arkley of Seventh Angel fame. Their project is titled Centry Sleeper and should be out maybe mid 2005. I very much look foward to this
